Experience visiting the inside of the greatest temple of Brazilian football. Opened on 16 June 1950, the most important stadium in Brazilian football carries part of Rio de Janeiro’s history and is also one of the city’s main tourist attractions. The Maracanã has hosted crowds of over 200,000 people and has been the stage for great football matches, music concerts and other events.
On this tour you will have the opportunity to see behind the scenes at the Maracanã and get close to the sacred pitch that has hosted historic matches, two World Cups and an edition of the Olympic Games.
Important information:
– Tour lasting 3 consecutive hours, with daily frequency.
– Departure time: morning or afternoon, depending on hotel location.
– On match days, the last visit ends 5 hours before the gates open; if the match day or time changes, some slots may need to be rescheduled.
– Pick-up and drop-off at hotels in Downtown and the South Zone (except Catete, Santa Teresa, Estácio, Flamengo and São Conrado). For other areas, please enquire about the private option.
– The itinerary may change due to weather conditions.
