From its 710 metres of height, Corcovado Mountain is home to a breathtaking view of the Marvellous City. The summit is blessed by the Christ the Redeemer statue, Brazil’s foremost monument and a World Heritage Site. With its arms open over Guanabara Bay, Christ welcomes people from all over the world.
The way to the top runs through the Tijuca Forest. The ride is peaceful and takes 25 minutes amid abundant greenery. As we climb, we can see Christ grow through the trees, which makes the experience unique.
After the descent, the tour continues with a city tour featuring panoramic views of the Sambadrome and Maracanã Stadium, with stops at the Selarón Steps and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

– Daily frequency, lasting 4 consecutive hours.
– Departure time: morning or afternoon, depending on hotel location.
– Pick-up from hotels in Downtown, the South Zone and Barra da Tijuca. Drop-off at the original departure point.
– During Carnival (usually February/March), city tours are temporarily suspended, as the streets are closed for the samba school parades.
