The Botanical Garden is a true paradise of flora and fauna, home to more than 900 species of palm trees and 140 species of birds. As well as being a conservation area, it enchants visitors with its shaded avenues, ornamental gardens, lakes, greenhouses and historic monuments, plus privileged views of Christ the Redeemer.
The Tijuca Forest, considered the largest replanted urban forest on the planet, is a natural refuge full of waterfalls, trails and viewpoints, where you can experience at close hand the importance of preserving the Atlantic Rainforest.
